The Department of Classics at New York University invites applications for a one-year position as Visiting Assistant Professor in Greek, beginning September 1, 2015, pending final administrative and budgetary approval. The specialization is open and a Ph.D. is required. The teaching load is two and two: the courses to be taught will include two semesters of elementary Greek, and a graduate-level survey course on Greek prose literature.
