The Department of Classics seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor (ABD) for a one-year position, beginning September, 2015. Candidates should be generalists, with specialization in either Greek or Latin literature. The successful candidate will teach Latin and Greek at all levels as well as lecture courses on Greek and Roman literature in translation; the latter include instruction in English composition. Excellence in undergraduate teaching is essential; candidates should provide evidence of both commitment to teaching and scholarly potential.
