The Department of Classics at the University of Virginia seeks applications to fill an Assistant Professor position on the Academic General Faculty (tenure-ineligible) to begin in the 2018-2019 academic year. Subject areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to, introductory and intermediate Greek and Latin, Greek and Roman civilization, ancient drama, Roman historiography. The Classics Department at Oberlin College is pleased to announce a one-year post-doctoral position funded by a generous donation from Oberlin alumnus Thomas Cooper.
