Trinity College in Hartford, CT invites applications for a full-time one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning July 1, 2020. The position has a 3/2 course load and involves some departmental service. We are seeking candidates who have experience teaching introductory and advanced-level Latin, and Classical Studies courses in translation. Teaching experience as the instructor of record is strongly preferred. Candidates specializing in the study of genres related to performance (e.g. drama, oratory, epic and elegiac poetry) and with PhD in hand will be preferred.
