I have been involved with the Society since the mid-90s in a number of capacities. I’ve been a member and Placement Service candidate. I have presented at the Annual Meeting as a scholar. Since 2008, I have worked as a funder with Adam and the Officers and Directors of the Society. I am delighted to be serving the Society now in a new capacity and to be returning to my home discipline of Classics. |

Our gathering came as we near the hand-over from one executive director to another for the first time in seventeen years, with Adam Blistein’s retirement at the end of this month. Helen Cullyer, his successor, began work for the Society on May 1st, and they have been working together closely over the past seven weeks. |
