The School of Humanities at Massey University is seeking to make a 3-year fixed term appointment (full time) for a lecturer in Classical Studies starting July 2016. The duties of the position are comparable with those of a Lecturer in the UK or an Assistant Professor in the US. This position will expand the staffing from 3 to 4 FTE. The position will be based at Massey University’s Albany campus in Auckland (currently rated as the 9th most liveable city in the world).

Furman University announces a two-year position at the level of visiting assistant professor to begin August 2016. We seek a broadly trained classicist who can teach Greek and Latin at all undergraduate levels. The successful candidate will teach the introductory and intermediate sequence of Greek and the introductory sequence in Latin, as well as Classics courses in translation.
