The Department of Classical and Early Christian Studies at Christendom College announces the opening of a full-time position to begin August 15, 2007. Applicants at all academic ranks will be considered.
A successful candidate should have a Ph.D. in hand, although qualified ABD candidates will be considered, and be a Classics generalist able to teach Greek and Latin on all undergraduate levels. A commitment to Latin and Greek composition, as well as interest in teaching spoken Latin is desired.

The Department of Classics at Connecticut College invites applications for a two year visiting position commencing July 1, 2007. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or be near completion of the degree. The successful applicant must be able to teach a broad array of courses at all levels in Latin and Greek, as well as Classics courses in translation including ancient history, and will be an effective undergraduate teacher. The teaching load is three courses per semester.
