Cotsen Institute of Archaeology Postdoctoral Fellowship
The Cotsen Institute of Archaeology, UCLA, Los Angeles, California, announces a postdoctoral position for the academic year, 2015-16, to begin September 1, 2015. We are seeking a recent Ph. D. in archaeology or any field related to archaeology with a research project and/or methodological specialization that complements resources at the Cotsen Institute, such as paleo-environmental studies, historical archaeology, or early complex societies. Preference will be given to a candidate specializing in an aspect of East or Southeast Asian archaeology.
Post-Doctoral Fellow in Classics
The College of Arts and Sciences at Florida State University has inaugurated a Post-Doctoral Fellows program in the Humanities, and the Department of Classics has been awarded one of the first such Fellow positions. This position is a two-year appointment to begin August 2015, of nine months for each of the two academic years, non-renewable.

Ph.D. in Classics or related discipline required by time of appointment. At least one year’s experience in college teaching preferred. Duties include teaching undergraduate courses in Latin and/or Greek and/or English translation, and participating in various departmental activities.

The Classics Department at Oberlin College invites applications for a full-time non-continuing faculty position as a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship in the College of Arts and Sciences. Appointment to this position will be for a term of two years beginning fall semester of 2015-16 and will carry the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Fellow. The position is supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and by a challenge grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
