The Department of Religious Studies and Classics at the University of Arizona is accepting applications for a full-time Lecturer in Classics. The Department is seeking candidates with a demonstrated record of teaching excellence. The successful candidate will teach General Education courses for a diverse undergraduate student population.

The Department is seeking applicants prepared to teach undergraduate courses in classical mythology, ancient Greek and Roman civilizations, Ancient Greek, and Latin.

The Department of Classics at Yale University announces a one-year position in Classics at the rank of Lecturer with a secondary rank of Associate Research Scholar to begin in Fall 2022. An Assistant Professor on leave from their home institution would be granted the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor. The successful candidate must show strong scholarly promise, and have completed all requirements for the PhD by July 1, 2022. The teaching load will be two courses per semester.
