We wanted to share the winners of our first round of Classics Everywhere grants. Please note that there are two more application cycles this year, with deadlines falling on March 1 and May 15.
Thank you to VP for Communications and Outreach, Matt McGowan, for coordinating the selection process for the first round. Mallory Monaco Caterine, chair of the Classics in the Community Committee, will be overseeing the selection process for the next two application rounds. We welcome Nina Papathanasopoulou (ninap@classicalstudies.org), our new part-time public engagement coordinator, who will be assisting us in communicating with our sponsored projects' directors, getting the word out about their work, and evaluating the success of this new initiative.
Please join us in congratulating these grantees, and look forward to these fantastic events they've planned!
